going all digital and "in synch", it makes you loose the only "live element" of a dj set, wich in my opinion is beatmatching. there's much less soul when you don't take any risk at all.

Yes, that's the good thing about being a DJ, you only have to beatmatch the sh!t, then you can keep drinking and let the sh!t do it's thing.

no, but it's one extra element you have to keep in mind. It's simply more difficult to mix everything yourself instead of letting the software take care of that.
And don't start the bullshit of "everyone can learn to beatmatch" because I hear big names and not so big names fck it up every time I go out, so there IS a difference and it takes skill.
