i don't think DS carts are region locked.

I have the japanese cart working on my UK ds. Its a pretty nice little toy

That's pretty sweet. I might wait a bit to buy it though, you know how Japanese games make "special editions" of the same game with more features.

We got a review copy sent in from a PR to where I work, and everyone hated it except me. But I have got the odd game from japan on ebay and had no problems at all.
