actually in battery you can tweak it a bit with the pitch envelope but its sort of like performing surgery with a butter knife. Actually I find hipassing kick samples I already have and then adding 'new depth' to them is a quite funky thing

I know you said you're looking for specific ones. I too use a ton of different kick drums, but just for another resource, Pure Magnetik has a freebie kick pack with 200 high quality kicks. I d/l'd it the other day but haven't checked it out yet. It's in their freebies section of their website, although you gotta sign up for a free account to d/l it:

if you own operator, here's a very very nice tutorial by gustavo bravetti. You can basically get any kick you want with this technique, from 808 to 909 but you need to be very subtle with the parameters, as they can change the sound drastically.
I guess this can be done with any FM synth as well.
