GALOPPIERENDE ZUVERSICHT [STYRO 2000 & BANG GOES]
Called by Ricardo Villalobos the "Best Techno Act in the World".
Their live set-up consists of about a dozen pieces of hardware (some of them self-built), with no laptops in sight. These guys made a huge splash on their first visit to North America in the spring of 2005, playing a few select gigs at tastemaker parties such as Mutek, The Bunker, Wolf + Lamb, and Kontrol.

GROUPSHOW [JAN JELINEK (electronics) / ANDREW PEKLER (guitar) / HANNO LEICHTMANN (drums)] will perform an 8-hour marathon during an 8 hour projection of andy warhol's EMPIRE, screened the same time that it was filmed... from dusk to dawn... on 18th october as the first event of UNSOUND.
Groupshow is a trio made up of Jan Jelinek, Hanno Leichtmann and Andrew Pekler. The project grew out of Jelinek’s 2006 Kosmischer Pitch album tour through Europe, Japan and North America. The album Kosmischer Pitch was Jan Jelinek’s subtle eulogy to 70s cosmic music, and though he constructed the album from loops and layers, the outcome holds plenty of allusions to this era of sound blurring, flow, and musical haziness. Without any specific references to place or time, the album taps into the cosmic search for transcendental moments, and the spirit of electronic music pioneers on a quest for liberation. Jelinek took these principles to the stage: not as a laptop solo artist, but together with guitarist Andrew Pekler and Hanno Leichtmann on drums.

BEN FROST TO PERFORM WITH PAN AMERICAN AND COLLEEN AT UNSOUND ON 24.10.2008!

Ben Frost will join Pan American and Colleen to perform in Krakow for UNSOUND, making 24.11.2008 a world class night of ambient / electronic / experimental music.

Born in Australia but now a resident of Iceland, Frost has worked with the likes of Bjork, among many others. His last album “Language of Machines” was released by the Icelandic label Bedroom community. It has received glowing reviews all around the world. For example:
