they're not cheap but you can get any number pressed up for the same price per unit.
i havent had a record pressed for a while, so i'm not sure of their prices (with oil and all that) but i'm getting one pressed there in a few weeks, so i'll know shortly, :)

worked with GZ and was quite ok with them, except that it takes ages to explain stuff there, but I guess that's due to the belgian-speaking-english-to-tsjech-speaking-english language barrier :)

Still, they were okay, but found cheaper and better in the mean time :)

Here in Belgium we have only one, which is a very good one, but unfortunately also extremely expensive: discopress.

True that discopress is very expensive (and very not nice)
if you need good prices, good service and friendly people, try
www.vinylium.com . And i am not working for them (but with them and i am happy)

Thanks for the info. Good to hear that there's a new pressing plant in times of lower vinyl sales.

Like my labelmate Psytox said Discopress is a bit more expensive but the quality is there. It's always a matter what's the most important for you. The more barriers there are, the more problems that might pop up. If you work with a Czech pressing plant you'll have the language problem, the distance,... while working with Discopress if you live in belgium has less possibilities where problems might occur because you can call them in dutch and you can pick up the records yourself.

Like always you need to compare the pro's with the contra's.

check this:
i've asked them for calculation:
250 and 500 pcs of 140 g vnl,whitelabel and 250 g universal discobag..
prices for 3000 and 1000 pcs are the same...

1.00 CZK = 0.0427196 EUR
1.00 EUR = 23.4191 CZK
-----------------------------------------
17,245.00 CZK = 735.326 EUR --250 pcs
22,464.00 CZK = 958.957 EUR --500 pcs
9,240.00 CZK = 393.996 EUR --1000 pcs

i've found some pics from that plant..horrible communistic are etc ..:))
