Battery and microKontrol

For the life of me I can't figure out why this is happening.
I'm trying to map the pads of the microKontrol to trigger NI Battery 3.
Should be simple. When I set a pad to say, C-1, it triggers the cell that's set 1 octave higher, C-2. no matter what I do, when trying to trigger from the pads, I have to set them 1 octave lower than the actual cell in Battery is set to?

Can anyone offer a resolution to this?

have the same problem with my kontrol49. some software bug within the kontrols I guess

I think this is a problem with Battery itself. I remember I had a go with the demo and noticed the same thing with my remote 25. I then went onto the NI forums to find out and lots of people were having the same problem.

There might be an update on the NI forums that fixes that bug. I know there was a lot of bugs when it first came out and some of them have been fixed from an update.
