Trouble creting sounds

Post by Dub Tek »

I've been trying to produce these lush sustaining pads and those type of piano chord sounds but I cannot seem to get close, here is an example http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xNc7ZhT1xig

FM8 is packed with sounds like that. Check that out, might save you some time in creating a sound that already exists as a patch.

try lounge lizard plus some reverb filtering and delay por pianos . Play chords instead of notes. For some of those pads I like to use chimera. Its free too.

Try some generic patches with a LP resonant filter and dub delays and big lush reverbs.

Wouldn't mind hearing some 'dub techno' stuff, can anyone name some stuff to look out for?
