Yep...schranz...that's it! Crap, IMO.s.k. wrote:i played at the Apokalypsa (main stage) some years ago, before the czech scene turned heavily towards schranz, which i guess is the bullshit you're on about... i can only tell you, those were the days. minimal techno all the way, od zachatke do konze. afaik, prague was always cheesy house, but in moravia (southern czech republic) Surgeon, Regis and the alike had a cult status. so the minimal scene has quite some tradition around those places, and except for the major big events, you will find some quite decent parties there.Michael^Heaven wrote: I have noticed the sound has changed from that bangin', relentless, not-danceable bullshit I've been seeing at the Apocolypsa/Bobby Centrum events...
in any case, if you're moving from the states to the czech rep., you can only be happy, prepare for the culture shock of your life lol eheheh... but what do i know...
How is Ostrava? Fabric seems to be having some good parties from time to time. Yeh, I've been preparing for the culture shock from the info I get from family that lives there. Language barriers & lack of conveniences mostly.
Will do! I plan on traveling massive once I'm settled in.s.k. wrote:oh and by the way, if (when) you get sick of too much DJ Orbith and DJ Lucca, simply cross the south border, and you will find yourself in a heavenly beautiful place named Bratislava, Slovakia. then we can talk
