Comments on Dave Smith's Evolver?
I'm considering buy this monosynth just the table top part
no need for the keys, but before I do so, I wanted to see feedback

It's a really stand out machine. Most of the sounds I've made with it are really harsch. No lush pads etc, everything sounds kind of hard, in a good way. Two analog OSC and two digital.
I have the editor for it too, which really helps. You can let two patches have sex and get 100 kids that obviously are a mixture between the two parents/patches.
I've had it since it was new, and I really love it. But for some reason I use it rarely nowadays, perhaps I'm a bit lazy. It's not that fun to tweak it, but it really sounds great.
The sequencer in it is remarkable too. You can control pretty much any parameter with it.
