ah - the 'after hours' one

IMO thats when everything started to go wrong - hawtin as techno geek with shaven head and glasses - good

hawtin as party head after spending too much time with vath - wrong

vath = hawtins road to perdition

... but i love that Cocoon - Sound of the Season mix CD they did together. Seems quite underrated but it had a great energy with some really nice and bangin tracks. Nice representation of a day/night out in Ibiza (not that I've ever been). Also very different to what I expected. I remember thinking Hawtin had really moved to a new style then.

Put it this way, it was a lot more fun and 'having it' to listen to than this new mix. I find it quite oppressive and unlistenable.

Does anyone know who J. alter is? He seems to be listed in the tracklisting but never heard of him and neither google nor discogs seems to be able to find him.
