I think one of the reasons I really like the old 80's stuff was because it was when electronic insruments were really first being used for major production purposes. The moajority of the sounds were pure analogue, and some of the producers really took sound design to the next level. If it weren't for some of this cheesy 80's stuff, electronic music wouldn't be where it is today.
