The typical deadmau5 sound is quite nice. But the gregor tresher tune is so awesome. I love the bassline

Kinda links in to the MONOTONOUS thread; this is what musical dance music sounds like *****most of the time*****, hence why 'minimal' still sounds so fresh....

This is just trance man, trance became too hard, now trance is called progressive, hard electro sh!t is called trance, and real progressive house, ala peace division, is called tech house or minimal.... weird....

i think you could get this sound out of any synth with good pad's. a nice pad with no/low attack and maybe some reverb/chorus.
