out on a free netlabel - downloaded it a while ago (insectorama) been playing it myself during sets

sorry to say but I prefer doppelclicks version.

your track nightbug sample is nice :)

Thats a kick in the mouth although my version is quite a bit different. I like that version though.
Thanks for your feedback regardless.
If you'd like a copy of the full night bug i'll happily let you have a proper listen.
Thanks
Ewan.

loved the song. kinda reminds me of some cadenza material. maybe if you shifted some parts around and built up to the vocal it might "pep" it up a bit. great the way it is though.

listening now.
the vocal is a bit ever present to me... The production sounds great tho..
nice atmospheres... Lush reverb too..
I agree it needs to build more. Not enough tension/release for me.

i think the structure might need some work. The vocal sample could be really versatile if you did something different around it once in a while..

Like the production style alot though.

Score another for the leeds mnml crew :D

marvin

Post by youandewan »

I appreciate all your comments, i'll definately take things said into consideration. I do agree that marvin is lacking bits and bobs. The one thats up is actually an earlier version, works already begun in regards to tweaking it.
Had an interest from Opaque (funkyish German cheese house label). Wanting to release it limited 12" but i'm told the vocals will have to be re-recorded due to sample clearance etc....
bit of faff but anythings a start. im up for sharing whatever if anyone wants 320k versions.
Just msg me.
Thanks
Ewan.
