The 9th release on Immigrant Digital is the second part to the Connectivity Sampler EP, exposing our new artist signings from across the globe. In pt.2 we showcase 4 more techno/house tracks from producers hailing from Japan, Germany, Uruguay and Belgium. Look out for solo projects from all these new artists in 2008.

“ Ryoh Mitomi- Pointe” What better way to kick off part.2 of this compilation than by introducing Ryoh Mitomi, our first Japanese artist to join the Immigrant family and boy does he join with a bomb in 'Pointe,' a no-nonsense pumping dance floor smasher; such a breath of fresh air in this day of colder, minimal techno. The track builds with a pounding 808 kick drum and a sumptuous sub bass, before dropping into a well earned break of enveloping synths and nervous white noise. Beware the wrath of Ryoh Mitomi as the track fulfills all it's early promise. You might even see this one on vinyl early in 2008!

“ Kono and Photy- Cut & Off” Our next track is brought to you by German duo Kono & Photy. The pair have been not so quietly crafting their unique minimal house style lately, and 'Cut & Off' is the result of their most recent studio work. The track tweeks and twerks it's way along with shuffling rides, and a droning synth lures the conscience into an unsettling break, before thundering back into a hypnotic, and ever so deep, tracky groove. It's a late night number for the head as much as the body. Look out for more from the duo in 2008.

“ Bardo- Blitches” Montevideo is the home of Uruguayan techno producer Bardo and the title of his compilation offering is 'Blitches.' This warm and pumping techno track shuffles along with twisted vocals, rolling sub bass and a swinging hat pattern, before unleashing a dance floor destroying swirling, massive bass line. This track will appeal to Troy Pierce fans and the sick and very twisted among us (That's me!) Watch out for more from Bardo on Immigrant Digital in 2008.

” Nutownproject & Jeik- Petit Bruit” You’ve already been introduced to Nutownproject through his track Tapage Nocturne on the Immigrant Digital 'Flight 18' compilation under the name Digital Coalition with Dany Rodriquez. We are now happy to showcase another collaboration under the name Nutownproject & Jeik with a track called 'Petit Bruit.' The boys take us deeper with this tracky number with a deep, minimal edge. The track snakes along with a funky sub bass, monotone synth stabs and eerie atmospherics. After a couple short edits and a short break to change the vibe, the track jacks back in with extra percussion and dreamy synth atmospherics. A classy production, and a perfect way to round-off a high quality project.
