[Germany] Berlin over New Year?

What New Years Parties are there in Berlin this year?

Knowing Berlin is the capital of partying, I like going there sometimes, to Panorama Bar and Watergate for some good techno.
I decided to book a trip there over New Year to begin 2008. So...
What things are happening in Berlin on New Year and the week around it? Would be very happy for some insights from mnmnl-fellows living there.

thanx! maybe it will be one of those places in the end. But what I was most keen on, was actually if there are one-off parties in clubs I haven´t been to yet. I travel a lot to Berlin and have passed rather many nights in all the above mentioned places and was secretly wishing someone would throw a mean techno event in an old basement or something. :-)

if someone knows good parties outside all the usual techno-venues please let me know.

Hi, I was considering that richie, magda and ricardo event too.

Do you know exactly what time it takes place. Is it an afterparty that starts at 6 am or sth? Or is it a regular gig in evening/night time?

There is nothing about it on Weekend site, so I would like just to be sure, and don't go there in vain.

Pretty sure they won't be playing before afternoon/evening on the 1st. of january

its an after. They play till 6 i guiss in Rome at the Amore festival and then fly to berlin.
