another possibility is looking at the timeline on your sequencer. don't know what you are using but almost every sequencer displays time and bars

yes, but you can always place your cursor at a certain point (measures) and read the time on the transport bar (cubase, logic).
there are maybe other sequencers not displaying the time... i don't know every sequencer :roll:

in logic you just hit U....very easy. Ive never seen a sequencer that doesn't show time...but hardware - sometimes it is good to have a calculation. If it came down to it I'd get a demo of something and use that .
