The most helpfull book I have read is "THE ART OF MIXING" by David Gibson. Second Edition.

Not really geared towards dance music in specific but it helped me figure out TONS of things with using compression reverd and such things on my istruments. Long book but WELL worth having. It puts everything into this visual aspect using colors and little bubble things. It's hard to explain but it makes everything make sense.
