this is my set, if that's what you mean. weird process here. i used dss dj's direct-to-disk recording feature. monitored on one soundcard while the master went to the other soundcard went to... nothing. i did everything on the internal mixer. i'm used to running each "deck" on a different card and then going to an external mixer, but i wasn't happy with the sound quality recording this way. now i'm hooked on the internal mixer!
there are some fx, a filter (essential for some mixes), three eq faders (sweet), and all the knobs you'd expect out of a kickass mixer. but I wish I had more control over fx, and a wider variety. Reverb, delay, feedback, distortion, and separate cutoff and resonance filters (as opposed to a single filter) would make me a very happy camper. i think dss is obsolete, though. maybe i just need to get a kp2 again (i sold mine some time ago).
anywho. this is the first mix project i've done/recorded in over four years, and the first one that was non-vinyl. i'm pretty happy with it, even taking into consideration my old mixes. i was probably a tighter mixer with vinyl back in the day, but i think my programming has gotten a bit better. that same site has the last mix i did back in 2001, at the end of my messenger days:

there are two other mixes i'll track down and link, too, from 1999 and 2000 that are way, way minimal -- sparse subsonic sounds strung together by quiet ambient elements. i'll get them up when i get the chance.
