Plastikman & Sakamoto

I was listening to some Ryuichi Sakamoto tracks, when i stumbled upon this little thing.

theres this one track on his album L.O.L. (lack of love) called Experiment.

and the strings in it sound exactly like the strings used in the Plastikman track from Closer.

i found it very funny

The tracks can be listened to on Beatport btw.

and while your at it, have a look at some other Sakamoto tracks,

They're GREAT!

sakamoto stuff with alva noto is awesome.

and the strings in closer should b coming from NI FM7. maybe that has something to do with the similarities

i guess the notes are comming from the fm7 too

i am a big fan of YMO and his releases like Insen with Noto (Carsten Nicolai) are fucken great! but that track (i bought it from Beatport) was a real clone from that Plastikman track...
