The latest Num release sees a collaboration between Swiss based odd couple, Lad & Dave The Hustler.

The wonderfully eccentic Lad cut his teeth playing with the popular Swiss grindcore band Nostromo, while simultaneously pursuing his love of house and techno.

Dave The Hustler is a prolific producer and remix artist, having worked with Felix Da Housecat, Kate Wax, Ladytron, Iggy Pop and even Ozzy Osbourne, while also establishing his own label, Paparazzi.

A side Era Bulgaris opens with a dominant choral chant that brings to mind the work of Dead Can Dance and Arvo Part. The track soon transforms into an infectious tech house floor filler, with lively synth hooks and heavy percussion injecting pace and depth.

B side Era Bulgaris (Quenum mix) takes things even deeper. Chopping up the choral motif, Quenum transforms the track with restless IDM percussion and punching bass.
