Live 6 LE

Post by glasser »

How badly am I going to need the use of more than two vst instruments? I am allured by the price of the new limited version of live $150 USD. And I'm rationalizing that I can always just multi-track with separate projects, and then bounce to an audio track. So my question is do you think it's a good idea to buy (as I don't have the cash) and do most people on mnml.nl use more than 2 vst and 2 vst effects at a time?

definetly more then 2 vst instruments... BUT there's a trick... theres a program called energy xt or something which can be booted as a vsti and host many vsts within... there are other vst vst hosts...

i use "chainer" to host vst's. it works great to use your comp. as an fx box.

also LE is designed for djing.

To get the full version cheap - get the academic version on ebay or find a free copy of live lite somewhere (its given away with hardware) and you can upgrade to full version cheaper.
