How to stay up to date with new minimal & techno release

Post by DJAXiS »

Hi all,

I've got a question, not sure if its the right place to post it but anyway...
There are soooo many minimal/techno releases each week but i'd like to know what's the best mailing list or website to stay up to date with most of the techno/minimal releases!
I'm pretty new to the whole techno/minimal scene and i'm gonna start djing it as well so i wanna stay up to date as much as possible!

hopefully you guys can help me out! thanks :)

wow..lol guess you can just check Beatports minimal top ten every week and go from there...or you could just listen and make your decisions as to what's good...?

No... I want a list with all the new releases so i can see whats interesting...

I'm originally from the drum & bass scene, i signed up on www.chemical-records.co.uk for the weekly mailing list and they have every single drum&bass record listed dropping each week... thats more what im looking for

i already use this website of course, and beatport! just looking for something like chemical so i make sure i dont miss any good techno/minimal releases

I recommend going to a record store and digging yourself through the news every week. That is, if there's a record store around you. If not you can still try online record stores and their news section.

Avoid sales charts, unless you're satisfied with playing what everybody else plays.

Well, and I guess there are a bit more new mnml/techno records around than d&b...

Oh yeah, DJing is work actually...
