so, um, i listened to "experimental techno" for several years? was i that geeky? always thought it was "brighton breaks".
ok, i wouldn't write a dissertation about EDM based on this guide, but it gives one a good idea of the various genres in the 80s and 90s. i guess music today is too mashed up to define genres...
