i would do that. its a samsung tv, right? (assuming your brand loyalty here is strong )

run everything in to the tv. there HAS to be a good audio out on it (not digital or coax, so it'll work with your amp). since you'll have to change video inputs to watch tv / dvd / ps3, that will automatically switch the audio. therefor since you have next to no good inputs on the amp, having the tv do all the heavy duty switching would be the easiest.

Yes I have brand loyalty so the TV is a Samsung yes.

I've just done it! As is usual with these things the solution was a cinch!

All I did was disconnect the phono leads from Audio Out on the Sky HD box and Audio In on the new DVD player/amp, and reconnect from Sky HD box Audio Out to the Audio In on the TV. Then got some more phono to phono leads and connected them from Audio Out on the TV to Audio In on the DVD player/amp.

It really is about time EVERYTHING was wireless these days.

There must be 15 cables behind my fucking TV now!! Least its working now!

haha, don't be concerned about the cables!

behind my tv i have a ton of cables, from my hd cable box, to the xbox360 (boo on your ps3!) and the hd dvd player, i have more than enough cables running to my toshiba regza lcd tv.
