the minimal vst...

i knew about this VST before i even knew about mnml.nl. I can't use it because I use OSX, but my boy fucks around with it once in a while. I think it's a pretty decent little synth engine but it doesn't matter..

Also, who was knocking it because it's free? LOL.. The BEST software available is free.

I think you guys hate it because it *exposes* how SUPER-FUCKING-EASY this sh!t is!!

I agree with the sentiment. This minimal techno lark is piss easy to do! If it wasn't easy we wouldn't have so many "minimal" tracks being released - the vast majority of which are shite.

It's not a joke...

Now, don't get me wrong. Just because the template is chld's play doesn't mean that there hasn't been some very groundbreaking material released, not does it mean that the music isn't fantastic, it's just that... well, it's easy! I thought so in 1995 and I think so now.

I really enjoy all of psychic modulation's gear. I've noticed minimal will skip for me on the start of the host... anyone else?

I use it quite alot. I think the title is perfect. For that matter, I think it deserves noting that minimal (music scene) is quite popular. It has broken out of it's niche and become it's own, much like techno. Also note the term "minimal techno."
