I think producing 15 tracks is harder work than making one mix CD. his English isn't amazing, it's pretty clear what he means. He wants it to be perfect: I consider Taka Taka to be one of the best commercial mixes ever, and following that up without doing something completely different (like this) would be pretty tough.

i don't normally weigh into these debates about people... he is after all a person, not a commodity.
in fact he is furthest from a commodity. ricardo has that rare ability to create dance music that never goes stale. he is an artist. i never tire listening to panpot spliff and i can't imagine how many times i've played it.
he is one of the few that adds a genuinely transcendental dimension to all of this
