techno in berlin

hi!

sorry, sorry, rubbish thread i know, im sure this has been covered in other threads but a few searches have helped me none...

a few friends are in Europe at the moment and just got in touch asking where to go for techno in Berlin... other than Berghain are there any places particularly worth checking?

in particular, does anyone know any of the networks through which you can hear about warehouse / free parties?

any help would be greatly appreciated

I am headed to berlin in a few days, and that above list doesnt mean much to me, could I get some clarity?

Are those free parties/warehouse parties or rig parties or club parties?

Best is to just ask some people at various record shops and stuff when you arrive. Berlin hasa strong underground scene and that is not the result of posting everythin gall over hte internet.

i hope nobody is looking for free "tekno" parties.

ask any berlin taxidriver, they have guides about cool clubs like cookies...
