i'd like to buy a behringer djx700 mixer .. because it's kid'a cheap and it wouldn't throw me in to a financial crysis .
I would like to know the bad stuff about it .. maybe from someone who even ownes one .
thank's
behringer mixer ..
I've got one sat under the table I keep my decks on.... for the first 9 months of me DJing it was O.K to learn on, but the soundquality is awfull you constantly get a buzzing sound from it, the faders only make any sort of differenct to the levels in the top 2 bars, effects just work on top of the sound rather then effecting the sound if that makes sense e.g when you filter it doesn't cut the frequencies it just plays the swooshy sound over the top... bpm counter they might have well not bothered with aswell....
so all in all it's a terrible product that I wouldn't reccomend, I think the reason I justifyed paying £1000 for a xone 92 was because I wanted the exact opposite to the behringer....
hope that helps

For price you can`t beat Behringer. But take build quality into consideration, they don`t seem so cheap after a year. Crackling faders, knobs falling off...
Take a look at Soundcraft Urei mixers:

Though, it is cheap, got my DJX 700 for 150 euros. Anyways, the price is the only good side about it.
listen to me.
don't buy it.
why?
'cause you'll need to buy new one and that doesn't help you financially.
how do i know?
becuz once i played in a small bar and there was this horrible thing,
and that was the worst time that i've ever had.
eq knobs are there just for visual, it cuts nothing,
cue level is almost unadjustable(very loud or very soft and that's it),
fader is extremely non-sensitive(same as above),
sound quality, well...HORRIBLE!!
and so on.
my mixer isn't that good one, it's a cheap Numark one.
but compare to berhinger, it's like thank you very much.
if you start out, Numark or Stanton has some cheaper models.
no onboard FXs, but you'll be sick of those FXs anyway unless you have
Xone series.
