yeah, no sh!t. thats like saying "that artist used the color RED?!?, omg i'm never gonna look at his work again."
fl7 is a kick ass program, imo.
aux88 uses fl as well.

whats it matter what they made it with?
if it kills....it kills
doesnt matter if the beats came from a fucked up bucket or the latest analog drum machine/ toaster
aardvark wrote 'cult copy' totally on fruity loops - just to add another name to a massive list
personally i use ableton but thats just me - whatever suits your approach to making music really is the way.

Re: programs etc

i didn't want to be rude... but i was just wondering
fruity loops is good to produce loops, mainly beats and eventually basslines, but i wouldn't (personally) use it to make a full track.
if you are looking for harmonic sounds i would try to explore some soft synths, try to browse http://www.kvraudio.com... they have tons of free VST and VSTI plugins.. i would avoid sample packs, you will sound like all the others... be patient and take it as a funny game (it is one). i'm sure you will find what you are looking for...
good luck

I use Orion Platinum:
http://www.synapse-audio.com
It's also a loop-based tracker and all common interfaces, VST, DirectX and ReWire are fully supported. So it's not a problem if you need new sounds :-)

Re: programs etc
no offence but a "pretty good" producer doesn't search for DAW programs that have specific sounds, banks, packs, whatever...nichamersly wrote:ok sorry,im "pretty good" with music, but see i dont make much minimal,i usually get into experimental, dark ambient, noisey kinda sht, fruity loops just doesnt have sounds inwhich im looking for,or maybe i just need to download packs,i dont know... just seems there is alot better sht out there program wise...manzatour wrote:sorry but i'm curious... what makes you think that?nichamersly wrote: i am very good with music
