lomidhigh lmtd. 004.5 , Seuil – “BLOOD ON THE CONGAS”

samples :
A OBLIVION
B SILAS RETURN

For the next lomidhigh lmtd. release, we’re very happy to introduce
Parisian Seuil. His contributions show a distinct ability to combine
a housy feel to otherwise minimal and hypnotictracks. Complete with
tribal accents and funky grooves, the result is a record of two
moving and shaking tracks but still with a profound eerie touch to
it. “Oblivion” on the A-side evolves around a loopy kickdrum and
menacing bass-stabs, while subtle congas and sirene-like synths float
in the background. “Silas Return” on side B maintains the same
lightness as the previous track, perhaps with an even more complex
percussive side. Still, the perfectly arranged drums and kicks will
fit perfectly in a club setting. A prime example of a record as
interesting and refined as it is energetic!
