anyone out there got a Genoqs Octopus hardware sequencer ?
if so, whats it like in use ?
if i can ever afford it i'd love to get a hold of one and ditch my fragile laptop for good when i play live.

I saw a local liveact (machina) using one a few months ago. They look cool.
A cheaper alternative might be a doepfer schaltwerk sequencer, although that only has the step sequencing bit.
Or if you are a super nerd, a massive MIDIBOX controller with a custom max/reaktor patch or a few of the MIDIBOW SEQs built togeher might come clost to the functionality.
