some time ago a man in my neighbourhood gave me an old tape with traditional afghani music. after listening to it a few times i decided to extract some sounds and loops and use for a project.
i made 4 tracks and this is the first part.
anders ilar - sand (part1)
the more dancefloor friendly parts 2 - 4 will be released on narita later this year with a remix from adam johnson. part 1 will be released as an mp3 on the website, but i thought i'd test it on you people first and see what you think. deep dubby clicky sh!t with a middle eastern flavour.
enjoy!
