Probably stuff on praxis (total doomcore gabber stylee) or stormcorps (N23/spiral tribe offshoot)
The sound of distorted beyond belief 909 kicks and nails being drawn down a blackboard.
For scary, but not necc deep - although can be quite hypnotic in a deranged kind of way.
For deep , mystical, errie sounding music - well - a fave of mine would be the fluxion album on chain reaction or the remix album of murcof - some well haunting strings going on there, but to be honest - deep, mystical sounding eerie stuff makes up a large portion of what i usually listen to so I'd be here all night If i listed them all.
On a non techno tip for that front - sigor ros v mogwai for your spooked out shoegazy guitarness.

There's a name I thought i'd never see on this forum, haha.fl0w wrote:I recommend stuff by Mouse. Really sick.
I saw Mouse and No Name play live for 4 hours in Newcastle a couple of years ago, it was pretty amazing.
Dark Techno = Iesope Drift
Other dark stuff off the top of my head:
Techno Animal, Khanate, Coil, Current 93, Fantomas etc.
