you can now buy the album everywhere, on vinyl, cd and digitally... a few links:
- decks for the vinlys: http://www.decks.de/?id=bnu-u0
- of couse beatport
- and if you're in japan, there's the excellent wasabeat
and mooooooooore
and a few press reactions....
De-Bug (Germany): an album that shows the best side of minimal, a concentration of extraordinary sounds that build an incredibely exciting groove.
Wire (UK, Philip sherburne): it's all immaculately done, chaos is carefully controlled, kept to a leash only milliseconds long.
Trax Magazine (France): One could say that Someone Else is what Matthew Herbert would have become if stuck in a cave with Sleeparchive and Jay Haze
Piranha (Germany): blinkin' techno with a very personal composition style.
Electronic Beats Magazine (Germany): his ingenious debut album is simply one good-tempered goofball!
Sweetjanemusic (Germany): maybe one of the best minimal albums of the whole year.
Style and the family tunes (Germany): works on the dancefloor quite well but also could be used to calm you down in a jam-packed subway more than driving you unnecessary crazy.
DJ Magazine (UK, Richard Brophy): the debut album from Sean O’Neal’s Someone Else alias stands out from the myriad of third-rate minimal.
The Skinny (UK): Throughout Pen Caps and colored pencils, Someone Else demonstrates how enticing music can be when experimentation and rhythm converge. It’s time to discover foundsound.
