Quality effects for DJing

I'm still puzzled what is your definition of an organic echo? Off time delays? delays with + reverb. I think its all how you use the plugins/chain the effects. You might put an 1/1 note delay, then a 1/16th delay thats slightly off and less in the mix and then sprinkle some reverb on top.

You might also try some modulation and phase stuff on top of your delays.

My favorite delay is the Interruptor Tape Delay (pc only):

Comes free with white noise too, a bad ass plug. Put an auto pan and automate the send and feedback on this thing and its money.

hi,

its hard to explain what i mean about an organic echo....but anyway thanks for giving me a name of a delay to check out.... this is all i'm after....just names of different delays etc so i can check them out and then i can see what i prefer.

to addd to that ableton solution with send and returns....

make a return track and add effects in this order... you will achieve a very dynamic, and very tweakable organic echo..... add an auto filter to the track, cut the bass frequencies and add some resonance, set the lfo to a fairly slow rate, and then amp it about half way..... now add your delay(I'd use grain delay) I say grain delay because with soem pitch effects you can add reallly cool sounding stuff..... give it a shot maybe this will do what you want it to.
