I have the same problem :( But with e-mu 0202..

The problem is that I can't remove onboard soundcard in bios.. ( acer 1522 ) I just turn off it at device menager from XP. But it not help. When I use ableton for few secunds sounds is turn off and ASIO4Alldrivers show that the 0202 is not available.

Can someone help ?

There might be a jumper on your motherboard to disable the soundcard ... It will be hard to find if you dont have a mobo manual though.

you will see the jumpers usually have either a number or a small description next to them on the mobo (snd = sound as an example)

why cant u remove it from bios? :?
maybe bios flash would help here? (but this is quite a tricky business, might even render ur mobo unusable...)
