Producing with your lifestyle

Do you think your lifestyle effects effects your producing at all.... ??

I live with lots of little brothers right, busy, loud family..
I go to my room switch on my computer and find I wanna produce a chilled out tune but sometimes I'm alone in the house and wanna make a hard deep sickness tune! lol

I dunno... does your lifestyle effect others in this way or similar,

Just curious...

how could it not? your environment is going to affect your art regardless of whether you want it to or not. i mean... isn't art just reflection of our surroundings anyway?

yes....I have found that I work best between the hour of 1-4 am. I would like to have more time during the day but work work work....so when I get home I take a 20 min nap hang out with my room mates and usual get on music around 10 pm... around 1 I get into a rythm...everyone else is asleep by then.

I use production as kind of outlet for feelings. Good or bad - doesn't matter.

Yes...your lifestyle (environment, drugs, so on..) def. has a LARGE influence on how you produce and what sounds you make
