I made a mix of the dubstep that ive been into lately.
Its a first recording for me with this style of music.
I figure as I learn more about dubstep and its structure I will be into cross mixing it.

Daily Grind ~ 35mins

1. AFX - Phonatacid
2. Mathew Jonson & The Mole - Dirt Road And A Boat From Soundwave
3. Burial - Wonder
4. Shackleton - Hypno Angel
5. Loefah and Skream - Fearless
6. Sleeparchvie - Russia
7. Kode9 and Space Ape - Correction
8. Remote

Thoughts? hate mail?

new DMZ release BURY DA BWOY also sits nicely into minimal sets i think. at least i'll try.

it's amazing how world changes actually. i had heard only a little about the scene until early last year when MARY ANNE HOBBES had DUBSTEP WARZ special (u should listen that) and it all started to BLOW UP. and now take a listen of this years DUBSTEP WARZ thingy (skream vs benga) and u hear what's going on now. but there are still some more space to explore ..

ASHKEN, MARC ~ SKREAM REMIXES EP LEFT010 12 LEFTROOM.

this sounds pretty ace

really believe that Burial's stuff is the closest Dubstep match to Minimal. South London Boroughs EP has 4 traks akin to stuff by Basic Channel/Monolake that easilly crossover to a minimal/techno set. The first Burial LP is insane!

Once i get me laptop sorted ill stick up a mix with a bit of burial stuff thrown in, mixes over lovely!

Listening to an old plastikman set from '98, and he drops a very dubby (dubstep?) track into it - works very nicely.

funny.. the two forms of music i produce are dubstep and minimal. I love em both but i generally write a few tracks in one, get a bit frustrated, so switch to the other and go on repeating this process as i go forward.

I'm glad to see theres more people out there in a similar place. one love n all :D
