suggestions on basslines

i am looking for suggestions on software or hardware synths to get the sticky rubber band bassline sounds, like alot of the boogizm, ricardo and tejada stuff to site some exapmles. if anyone can throw their 2 cents at me i would appreciate it.

fm7, absynth with added sound libraries....

I'm no expert in this field but wanted to share the few "STAND ALONE" plug ins that I've come across that I've enjoyed.

yea,FM synthesis is really good for strong basslines.
Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

Let's not forget Reason...

Maelstroms are amazing for creating unique basslines.

The sound I think you are looking for, you might want to just experiment a little, but try playing with various delays and things in conjunction with a maelstrom.

you need a synth with knobs, as many knobs as possible
i use the access virus, and you can get some nice bass sounds
it's a question of tweaking
the nord lead is also good bass

if you're looking for the authentic fat sound, a 2d hand 101 or an ms10 could do the trick

software-wise, you might wanna take a look at the arturia products such as the modular moog, mini moog, cs-80 and the recent arp2600
als tc mercury is nice

im not so found of the mercery, it works but well.. :}

found a nice VST called Pressure.. dont know more about it but it makes some niice basses
