as for DnB

Polar is excellent, it's too bad he dropped out of the scene,
Blame also has some interesting work both new and old.

it seems the key to really good music is the absence of sound
space creates rhythm and melody

dub and funk leave huge holes in the groove

great music seems very zen like in a way...

about Polar

I was gutted when I heard about him taking a break
his albums Still Moving, and Out of the Blue are top notch!
here is his discography http://www.discogs.com/artist/Polar

he did make a Sample set, but its a bit pricey at $99

btw check out some of Krusts tracks ;

Soul in Motion - single
Coded Language - album (not minimal but very deep)
De-Coded Language - EP

yeah i am so picky about my drum and bass these days. the only other guy i listen to is fanu. man does he fucking rock. he is so different to me, a nice breath of fresh air within a genre that can't get over the amen and the reece. both are cool but damn do they get boring after a while.

Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

what like tech step or neurofunk? personally i like neuro so much more. there is wierd synth programming and a really cool swing to it all. and more experimentation aswell. check out desimal (rip) for some absolutely insane productions.
