Hi there!
Found this site on wikipedia entry for minimal tech.
Been really getting into this style. basically downloaded the entire thinner back catalogue and now have enough tunes to last me all summer!
Looks like there are plenty of Melbourne people on here, and i'll be keen to check out one of these pinksilver nights sometime. Actually looking at putting on an event late summer so i'll be keen to here from anyone in melbs who wants to play! Minimal tech, dubby ambient stuff. Looking to do an open-air gig. Chuck us your myspace ad or something. Looking at trying to help out young and emerging dudes who just want to get out there and play, much like myself and my friends. Looking to do an open air gig, so let us know if interested!
Otherwise, yeah, i study more sound art, sound design stuff, and i'm still finding my way as a composer i guess. I go to a lot of doofs and get into a lot of deep progressive trance. But at home or just listening its minimal tech mostly. I like stuff like murcof and deadbeat. But yeah having all this thinner gear is just awesome. Only really found out about netlabels like a month or so ago so its a whole new world. Before that i listened to a lot of insine but thats pretty old and i'm not even sure if they were called netlabels back then!
Anyway, peace kidz ~
chek ya's round
