using a ps2 pad in ableton

is it possible at all? I wanna assign the analogue control to the xy grid that ableton creates for every effect, any help would be grand.

I don't know about ableton, but PS2 to PC usb adapters (sold with the driver!) are easy to find and quite cheap.
I think most of them even let you plug 2 pads :)

oh aye, i've got my pad plugged in, its what i use to play pro evo, its just gettin ableton to recognice it. I wanna use it mainly cos the analogue stick snaps to zero, which means I can effect something an then when i let go of the stick it'll come slammin back in
