Just got a Lenovo this summer. Quite a solid machine. I'm quite happy with my T60. Runs ableton perfectly fine and I would rate it as the best computer I have ever owned.

I had to reinstall the system because of some bad spy ware. All it took was for me to reboot into a special mode. Click a couple buttons wait an hour. I was back to the factory state. Fucking slick.

definitely.. although mac seems to be simply cheap for what u get.
OS feels like a freaken windows for kids, and its full of useless drivers and languages u'll never even use (which use more than 5 gigs of the hard drive btw). But hey, $1300 for a nice laptop ? Yeah, sure whatdaheck.
Thus mac + windows + basic OS + uninstall of extra crap seems to be reasonable decision. :)
for me, at least.
