Stick with simplicity. Nothing says mnml like iPod headphones.

i would not look too much at the price, if you get the sennheiser you have them for years, it doesnt really make a difference if you pay 30€ more or less in the end..

does anybody have any tips?
anyone used the Sony MDR7506? they seem pretty good!
thanks!

I used Sony MDR7506 for 10 years or more, love them.
Have the last year or so been using the TMA-1, very good too. For me the Sennheiser's come in 3rd...

I have a MDR7506. Very light and comfy and pretty good for monitoring. The ear pads started to fall apart after a few years, but they are very easy and inexpensive to replace.

they are exactly €100 and have the spiral cable included... (original cable of the sennheiser is a good joke..)

i use those and the sennheiser a lot and imo the technics are way more comfortable and robust.. small advantage of the sennis is that when it becomes insanely loud in the dj booth the ear cup of the sennis seals a bit better.. on the other hand the 1210s are way better regarding low volumes (they are really exact)..

i bought a pair 4 and a half years ago... dropped them like a thousand times and they still work perfectly..

you said you're looking for something not too pricey.. i doubt one can get a better product than this for €100 ..

+1 for Sennheiser

8th year running on my HD25's and they are still great. They are very light, durable and comfortable.
