In May Don’t Be Afraid Recordings will reach it’s 4th and 5th releases, the fourth from Semtek and the first full release on the label from Mr. Beatnick. To celebrate, the label will be taking over Visions Video Bar on Friday May 27th for their first label party. Both of the remixers from the respective releases, the Portuguese duo Photonz, and the London-based artist Architeq, have kindly agreed to make appearances, as well as some local friends of the label from One-Handed Music, Paul White, Bullion and Alex Chase.
DBA004 is currently receiving support from 2562, Ivan Smagghe, Neville Watson, Baby G, Subeena, Geoffroy aka Mugwump, Brackles and Disco Bloodbath amongst others. DBA005 was recently premiered on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide show and is receiving support from King Britt, Braiden and Snuff Crew amongst others.
