About Wolkenreise:
The literal translation of 'Wolkenreise' is cloud travel, and the music provided couldn't be more fitting. The original and remixes are all unique, with a soulfulness that will move your body, while leaving your mind to float in the expansiveness of space. A true masterpiece, this timeless release is sure to garner the attention and is destined to be another classic from Hidden Recordings, as they redefine the word 'storytelling' through electronic music. Relax, take your time, and enjoy the sounds.

Track Descriptions - Original:
Deepak Sharma and Dieter Krause take things slowly with a raw, deep, melancholic track that will drill down into your very being. Rolling pads and trippy melodies will tingle your spine while the drums march powerfully into your heart for some deep groove therapy. As your senses are heightened and your thoughts provoked, focus on how this track would sound at an after hours or on the terraces of Ibiza. Once this track finds its grip on you, it won't let go, and you wouldn't want it any other way.

DJ QU Remix:
One of the brightest minds in house and most in-demand DJs (he DJed Panorama Bar just after finishing his remix for Hidden Recordings) is Strength Music's DJ QU. A man this busy is not easy to get a remix from so we're thrilled to have his interpretation as a part of this release. The remix showcases QU's trademark sound - punchy, rolling drums and plenty of open spaces filled with warm, round bass turning the the original into a haunting, hypnotic mover. The vocal snippet hook is a nice suprise and helps to kees you locked in to the track's spooky groove.

John Tejada Remix:
Stepping away from his own Palette imprint, Los Angeles-based techno veteran John Tejada provides Hidden with a rare remix. Tejada's interpretation captures the essence of his ability to tell a story through music. With sharp and immaculate programming, Tejada deepens the original with jaw-dropping basslines, mind-bending synths, and dreamy pads that leaves you shaking your head in bewilderment. Subtle changes and shifts in melody will only hold your imagination further and leave you captivated as to what will happen next. - Tejada offers what we all have come to know and expect from him: perfection.

Rene Breitbarth Remix:
Rene Breitbarth is one of those select few producers that has withstood the test of time.DJs around the world are always excited to listen to what's next from this Berlin native. Elegant genius comes to mind on his remix of "Wolkenreise", one that will leave you nodding in agreement that this is vintage Breitbarth. Rene was the first artist to be contacted for the project because we knew he would create his own path - one of solid grooves and ever-changing melodies. His remix starts off rumbling and then the story-telling begins, with warmer pads and changing tones while still maintaining punchy drums until the mind altering synths introduce themselves. The remix is very smooth with nice phasing efx throughout to take you a deeper place in your mind where your dreams are more vivid.

Gustavo Lamas Rmx:
No stranger to Hidden Recordings, Argentina's Gustavo Lamas returns for another appearance after his highly successful release, 'Recorre' in 2008. If you are familiar 'Recorre' and Lamas' style, you fully understand why he was enlisted to complete a remix as his melodic, lush, and groovy sound is perfect choice. His spacy, dreamy rendition along with his signature punchy drums is the perfect contrast in motion and is sure to keep the energy happy and light on the dance floor. When the bass line finally kicks in is first the remix reaches new heights. You can feel the fluidity of the track pushing forward in a silky smooth style that will evoke your deepest desires.

Karraskilla Rmx: A well-respected and good friend of Hidden Recordings, Columbian born, and now NYC resident Karraskilla has been pushing his sound off Biatch Corp Records and has seen his sound continue to grow and prosper. He is a true professional and delivers in a big way on his remix. A sweeping bass line throughout the track takes things deep and works as the focal point of his remix. With a nice ever-changing melody, soft tone changes surrounding the monster bass line, and soulful groove you can tell he put 100% into this remix and we couldn't be happier.
