Both artists sum up the Content sound perfectly, fusing the modern tech house and minimal sounds from Central Europe with the raw and gritty spirit of Chicago and Detroit house and techno.
These two have been making quite a name for themselves over the past few years with releases on some of the world’s hottest labels, but for the uninitiated, here’s a little bit about them:
Agnès - The Geneva based founder of Sthlmaudio Recordings has been releasing since 2003 under many different guises, some known, some top secret ;o). He has put out EPs as Cavalier, Benelli, Modeste and Ray Valioso on his own imprint but his obvious talents have earned him releases on other prestigious labels such as Drumpoet Community, Resopal, Plak and Einmaleins.
Iron Curtis - Hailing from Nürnberg, but now resident in Berlin, Iron Curtis is one of THE names to look out for this year. Having already released eight EPs in the past two years, this prolific newcomer has been signed by Morris Audio, BOE Recordings and of course Content ressie Eddie Leader’s Hudd Traxx.
