Each of the performers at Contakt are encouraged to mix their shows together, overlapping, and creating a new mix out of the unique sounds and style of each artist. For example, Hearthrob continuing to add his own percussion elements over Magda's DJ set, Marc Houle adding samples intermixed with Hawtin's set.

What's so special about this? We've been doing that for years already.

i'd have been stood there, terrified of being asked to extend my hand towards the cube. maybe i'd have cracked and just rugby drop-kicked the fcking thing across the studio. richie would of course save it from smashing against the wall with a wave of his hand.
