On the latest Louche mixtape is a cat that’s been on our radar for a while now. We first noticed this chap after listening to some of his heterogeneous “Dr San Proper Soul Shows” on Amsterdam-based Red Light Radio. These mixes gave us a boiled down sample of the seemingly bottomless cache of quality underground music in San’s collection. He’s been over in Chile recently working closely on his new album, entitled ‘Animal’ with Ricardo Villalobos, and has delighted us with the releases he’s put out in the past 12 or so months on Perlon, Rush Hour, and enthralling Amsterdam label Studio Soulrock. One of the most sincere blokes we have met in the industry with a real belief in the sound he’s pushing, always keeping his sh!t real. This mix is super eclectic, touching on disco, house, folk, soul & rock; all of the highest calibre. The Propcast. Dr. San Proper. This is proper. San, you da man!
