"The Nerd Tank" Friday nights w/ Camea & Kevin

Post by .camea. »

Hey folks,

Kevin McHugh, aka Ambivalent, and I are launching our new East Village
Radio show, "The Nerd Tank", tonight at 10pm EST. You'll be able to
hear us every Friday LIVE from 10pm-12am EST on www.eastvillageradio.com.

We are going to feature darkwave, minimalwave, bleepwave and nerdcore.
With a little bit of boom-clap, some goth-hop, some neo flim-flam, and
a sprinkling of sizzlean. Sometimes you will want to dance, sometimes
you will want to cry. Occasionally we will have interviews.

This Friday, October 6, we will be talking with Clark Warner from M_nus.

The easiest way to tune in is to go to www.eastvillageradio.com, or you
can subscribe to our podcast by pasting the link below into your
iTunes, or other podcast-ready software:

http://www.eastvillageradio.com/podcasts/1294/70.xml

We will also be entering in our tracklistings for every show which will
be archived on the site. Be prepared for lots of pre-releases and
features on artists.

Hope you can tune in or get the podcast!!!

Sincerely,

Camea

*bump*

On the air as usual tonight. Camea is taking a break, I'm going to be hopped up on painkillers. Should be fun. Listen in, or podcast it.

If you're interested in what we play, check out our most recent playlists...

We're doing a special edition of The Nerd Tank.

The first half-hour will be all dark downtempo minimal. Nothing over 100bpm. Tracks by:

Thomas Brinkmann
Pan Sonic
Scorn

and more.

After we get that out of our system it'll be back to the arse-wiggling stuff. But some of you will probably get off on 10 year old tracks that sound like today's minimal on sleeping pills. zzzzzz
